Volume 56 : Summer 2005 : Number 2
“Micro enterprise as mission? Is that biblical?”
“I wish my boss could hear this! He has no idea how complex these rules are.”
“My financial person really needs to be aware of the big picture.”
We often hear these remarks. These topics will be addressed in the upcoming IFMA*/EMS Annual Meeting & Combined IFMA Mission Administration Seminar 2005 in September 22, 23, & 24 2005 at the Minneapolis Airport Marriott.
Under one roof, we will combine the big picture issues of churches and agencies, how boards should function, the role of African Americans in mission, tax issues, accounting rules, and the worldwide emphasis on business in missions. CEO’s, CFO’s, attorneys, financial directors, and Missiology professors will eat, pray and talk about issues together. The food will be good -- and better yet, the feast of issues and the gathering together of mission kindred spirits will enrich our ministry as we work in world evangelization.
We hope you will join us in Minneapolis if you are into finance, teaching, administering, or simply are one of God’s choice foot soldiers home on furlough -- or, you may be none of the above, but you simply want to enter the world missions issues today.
Come, you are welcome and will profit from our time together. I hope to see you in Minneapolis!
