Dr. Jerry Rankin, President of the International Mission Board (IMB) of the Southern Baptist Convention is well known in mission circles. First as a field missionary and then a regional director in Southeast Asia for over 20 years before assuming the leadership role of the IMB, Dr. Rankin has seen and dealt with every possible ethical issue relating to missions. His recently released book (Feb. 2009) Spiritual Warfare: The Battle for God's Glory, deals forcefully with the issue of unholy living. There is none more qualified to speak on the issue of serving with integrity to mission leaders.
Bill Taylor, a "Third Culture Person," was born in Costa Rica of missionary parents and lived 30 years in Latin America. From 1986-2006 he served as Executive Director of the Mission Commission of World Evangelical Alliance. Bill modeled a healthy leadership transition after serving as the Executive Director of the WEA Mission Commission for 20 years and continues to serve as catalyst to help both emerged and emerging global leaders innovate in mission.
Bill currently serves as Ambassador to both WEA and senior mentor to the Mission Commission. He is publications coordinator for the MC, co-leader of the global missiology task force and has authored and edited a number of publications. WEA is a network of churches in 128 nations that have joined to serve and provide a worldwide identity, voice and platform to more than 420 million evangelical Christians.
M.L Hillard is retired from ServiceMaster where he was Vice President for People Development. He is currently with the Peter F. Drucker Management Academy - Beijing, China - where he spends much of his time living and teaching. ML has taught many years with LeaderLink training in North America and Africa. Integrity goes beyond the typical issues in managing the work of missions, so you'll want to join in this forum.
