Mission Administration and
Finance Conference 201
Atlanta, GA
On Saturday, October 1, 2011 at the CrossGlobal Link Annual Business Meeting in Scottsdale, Arizona it was agreed upon to merge with The Mission Exchange. This merge now forms a body representative of 35,000 evangelical missionaries deployed in every country by more than 190 agencies and churches.
This merger will create better synergy, more effective use of resources, and eliminate needless competition and duplication of programs, products and services. It will give us a united voice to honor God as we move forward in this ever-changing world.
The merge will take effect on January 1, 2012. During the interim period as the new structure is formed all existing services will continue to be provided. It is planned that the new name and identity be unveiled at a special celebration in Salem and Boston, MA on February 6, 2012 where, 200 years ago, the first North American missionaries were commissioned for service by a mission agency.
